HELIPORT FOR LOMMEL

The City of Lommel is planning to develop a heliport at its Maatheide business park. Test flights have been planned to assess the effects of the heliport on the environment. Those taking the initiative for the heliport want to specialize in checking gas pipelines and package delivery. They will also be able to carry out ambulance services. They are working closely with Paramount Helicopters from Diest.

Various permits are required; but, before the land is sold, the City of Lommel wants to check on the proposed flight plans and determine whether these have any negative effects.
