EUROCARBON TO INNOVATE

During the 2005 SME day at the Parkstad Limburg Stadium, Martin Eurlings of the Province of Limburg presented the first ‘Innovation Voucher’ — worth EUR 6,500 — to Stephan Voskamp of the Sittard company, Eurocarbon. Mr. Eurlings said that Eurocarbon was a highly innovative company in the field of synthetic fibers; and, to enable them to develop an even stronger product, they would be able to exchange their voucher for research and information from the RWTH University in Aachen. This, he said, was an excellent example of the cross-border use of such vouchers.

In the first instance there will be 100 vouchers for the Limburg SME sector. Check the website for details.
