HIGHWAY LIGHTING FOR UMTS

Around 60 highway light pylons on the Walloon highways will be used as transmitters for the broadband mobile UMTS network. This will improve reception quality for 3G cell phones. The charges will be paid by the telcos to the Walloon finance company SOFICO.
