WOOD PELLETS IN BERTRIX

A plant for manufacturing ‘wood pellets’ is being set up in the municipality of Bertrix and will be operational next year. The pellets are made from waste wood from sawmills, pressed and fired before use. This is an ecologically sound way of dealing with this waste product. A production facility for wood pellets is also planned for the Kaiserbaracke Business Park.
