VALKENBURG'S ‘TOUR’ MILLIONS

The arrival the ‘Tour de France’ in Valkenburg, South Limburg at the end of its third stage on ‘the fourth of July’ next year is expected to attract between 300,000 and 600,000 visitors. This means up to EUR 6m for the local hospitality industry and potential revenues of EUR 20m for the region, according to reports in the local press.
