JAN MANS, NEW CHAMBER BOSS

Jan Mans (65) is to be the new chairman of the South Limburg Chamber of Commerce in Maastricht. He will start work in mid-January in 2006. Mr. Mans has been mayor of Kerkrade and also piloted Enschede through a difficult period following the firework explosion disaster (May 2000). He has also been acting mayor of Venlo and played a leading role in the activities of the Meuse-Rhine-North-Euroregion.
