POWER FOR AIGREMONT

The Aigremont company, established in 1934 and specializing in the manufacture of margarines and their flagship brand Olma, is setting up its own co-generation power plant. The company, which produced revenues of EUR 27m and exports 60% of its production, is going to invest EUR 2m in the new plant.

They have installed the 1.5km of stainless steel pipes necessary to heat the water they need and they are setting up a special subsidiary, Ecolma, to run the energy side. Olma employs 70; Ecolma will be employing 3.
