MESMANN TO HEAD EBV

Ewald Mesmann is to be the new chairman of the EBV AG real estate organization in Herzogenrath, which is a subsidiary of RAG Real Estate in Essen. Mr. Mesmann was the general manager of the RAG company, Rhein Lippe Wohnen GmbH, Duisburg, and the Glückauf housing association in Moers. The current chairman Hans Huber will be leaving the Board this year.

The former mining company, now in real estate, employed 150 in 2004 and produced revenues of EUR 64m, with a positive balance of EUR 40.8m.
