The 14th Aachener Colloquium for the automotive industry, which is currently welcoming 1,500 specialists to the city, has had a focus on alternative forms of drive including the hybrid, a combustion and an electric motor combined to reduce fuel. It was pointed out that current gasoline engines only achieve 25–30% efficiency in energy conversion. Future cars seem to the focus of activity. Check the website for details of the program.
