SPI+ PUBLIC HOUSING CASTLE

[BIZ/INFRA: Angleur, October 4]
The provincial development company in Liège SPI+ has spent EUR 730,000 with the housing association Le Logis Social, to buy the well-known Château Nagelmackers in the Liège suburb of Angleur. The building used to be the property of the Liège lawyer Marc de la Brassinne and was built in 1720 by the Nagelmackers family — founders of the bank and of the Orient Express railway company. The castle will become home to some 20 public housing units, an investment of EUR 2.6m.
