An ice-cream restaurateur was elected one of the most striking gastronomic enterprises in Limburg in a meeting of the catering trades organization at the Orangerie Roermond recently. Clevers IJssalon in Grubbenrtvorst employs 65 has already started in the franchise business and was unanimously declared the place to visit. Among the runners-up were Vivienne Curvers? of Hotel Puur in Venlo, Mariet Haumann of eetcafé ‘t Trepke in Afferden, Robin Berben of Café Sjiek in Maastricht, Han Smeets of the Brasserie Entree in Kerkrade and Frank Pennings of the brasserie Old Inn in Ottersum.
