QVC TELESHOPPING JOBS

The old mining site in Hückelhoven is the location for the leading German tele-shopping operation QVC, which is expected to take on another 120 part-timers this year. In June, 70 additional jobs were created, so that by the end of the year the 1,000 job limit had been passed in a 33 month period. 480 workers from 30 different countries worked at the Hückelhoven location of QVC on March 31, 2003.
